Wader ID Masterclass

Service Description

Meeting at the Mayflower, Lymington we will sit down to a hot cooked breakfast followed by an illustrated talk about wader identification. We will then head out into the field to put our new found skills to the test. From the Mayflower, the Lymington Marshes are short walk, here we will be afforded views of a range of species. We will focus on all aspects of wader ID including family groups, plumage, behaviour and calls. Approximate timings for the day: Meet: 0900 Cooked breakfast & talk: 0915-1030 (breakfast is included in the fee) Wader ID walk: 1030-1330 Day finishes: 1330
